What the portal records

The portal is run by VelpasConn Pty Ltd (ABN 44 691 423 275), which trades as Velpas Homes and VelpasConn. Before you read your documents, here is what the portal records and why.

What we record

• Your name and email address.
• When each document is sent to you, when you open it in the portal, which pages you read and for how long, when you download it and when you accept it.
• For each of those, the time, your internet address and the type of device (phone, tablet or computer).

Why

To know our documents have reached you, to keep an accurate record of what was issued and agreed, and to follow up with you.

Who sees it and where it is kept

Velpas staff working on your project. We do not sell it or use it for marketing. The portal's records and files are kept in Sydney. Emails are delivered through Resend, an email service that handles them outside Australia.

How long

At least seven years after your project is finished, as building law requires, then deleted or made anonymous. Your access to the portal ends when your project and its defects period end.
